Our Story
There was a cafe on the reserve I grew up on, Seabird Island Cafe that was a meeting place for our members. I got my first job there and so did my sister. I spent a lot of time there and I wish I could bring something like that back. There was a juke box in the corner, there were also carved masks for sale in the showcase, the building was made out of logs. I wanted to start something that felt safe and represented our people and values.
